Director's Biography

Kailee Hague is a Los Angeles based artist who specializes in animation and storyboarding. She has worked on a variety of animated shorts, live action films, and video games, doing everything from concept art and rough animation to programming. Born in Japan to a military family, she spent her life moving from country to country before settling down in California, where she received her BFA in Digital Arts from Chapman University in 2019.

Her most recent short film, Embarko, received the Digital Arts Media Award for Best 2D Animation, and was one of 6 Chapman University films chosen to screen at Leo Freedman Foundation First Cut Screening, held at the Directors Guild of America. She currently spends her time doing freelance illustration while embarking on her quest to find the best curries in LA.
