Synopsis

A 30-year-old divorced father returns home to live with his father. Their unstable relationship is revealed through their perspectives on each other's personal lives. What would happen if we told our loved ones everything on our minds?

Thomas Appolaire

Director's Biography

Born French from a half-Vietnamese half-Indian father and a French mother, Thomas Appolaire is a 32-year-old self-taught filmmaker and former actor. He is interested in writing about how his characters express their feelings or their interactions.

Director's Statement

The motive behind this film was to write about a father and son relationship. I wanted to express how the two characters see the same story differently due to their age gap. Choosing Vietnamese actors came afterward as I was thinking about representation and wanting to share a story performed by French Việt Kiều, as I am, and as I never felt shown on screen in France.
