Synopsis

Director's Biography
Raised in Houston, TX, Van B. Nguyen is a first-generation Vietnamese-American writer/director whose recent short films have screened at various festivals. Her pilot script, Linage, was a second-round pick for the Austin Film Festival and her feature spec, The Fourth Estate, placed in the top 15% of the Nicholl Fellowships. Most recently, her pilot Casualties was selected to be among the top 20 of unproduced pilots by female writers for the WeForShe 2019 WriteHer List. Van currently works as an assistant director as well, after building a career in production in Austin, TX. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
